Would you like to help shape the future of Richmond’s health services?
There are a number of meetings taking place over the coming weeks that will enable you to find out more about the provision of local health services, so you can have your say.
On Tuesday 22 September, Richmond CCG is inviting members of the public to attend its Annual General Meeting (AGM) which will be held in the Hyde Room, York House, Twickenham, TW1 3AA from 5pm-6pm.
The AGM gives stakeholders, partners and local residents the opportunity to discuss the CCG’s financial performance over the last year and look at how the NHS money given to the borough of Richmond was allocated. Those in attendance will also look at where achievements over the past year have been made and future plans for the borough.
Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust’s board is also encouraging local people to have more involvement in their local health services. The board holds meetings at different locations throughout the area on a bi-monthly basis.
“Engaging with and being accountable to the local community we serve is vital to being able to deliver first-rate care for local people. We therefore actively encourage local residents and patients to come along to our public board meetings to hear about our performance and ongoing business.”
Stephen Swords – Chairman
Members of the public are invited to come along and sit in on the meetings to find out more about what the Trust does and its provision of health services across the two boroughs. Those who attend can hear more about services such as home care support, which helps the elderly to stay independent, alongside more information about prevention services, including promoting healthier lifestyles and managing long-term illnesses such as Parkinson’s, multiple sclerosis and diabetes. Members of the public will also be invited to ask any questions they have at the beginning of each meeting.
